Adjuncts: Millstone Columbian Coffee
2011-It all started with a cold brewed coffee for 72 hours prior to mashing the grains. Once the coffee was ready the grains were mashed at a higher temperature for increased body & mouthfeel. Targets were used to provide a harmonious marriage of the grains and coffee.
2011-Tasting Notes: Subtle coffee flavors and aromas with chocolate notes. Slightly sweet from the additional dextrins from higher mash temps.
Food Pairing Suggestions: Flame Broiled New York Steak or Filet Mignon with Cheesy Onion Mashed Potatoes
Desert Suggestion: Sol’s Extra Stout Float with Vanilla Ice Cream or Tiramisu
