By matching the Pumpkin to Malt ratio achieves full pumpkin flavor when making this beer. The pumpkin was roasted until the perfect carmelization of the pumpkin was achieved and was mashed with the grains to convert as much of the pumpkins starches into sugars as possible. During the boil additional pumpkin was added along with the spices to create “Liquid Pumpkin Pie” results. Undergoing secondary fermentation honey was added to enhance the overall experience!
Tasting Notes: From the nose it has a subtle fruity aroma from the WGV hop addtions, the spices added are evident but not cloying. Medium bodied and has a slight sweetness from the honey added from the secondary, it’s been known to sneak up on you from the high ABV percentage of 8.5%
Food Pairing Suggestions: Deep fried turkey with all the fixings or slow roasted ham with all the fixings
